This
is an elaborate itinerary for the avid and intelligent tourist
who wishes to see the best of Austrian Alps and the cultural
city of Vienna and Salzburg the town of Mozart where the movie
musical Sound of Music was filmed. The plan covers Italy in
great detail as well as Germany ,France and Switzerland also
giving a flavour of the England countryside. A nature
lover's plan.

| DAY
1: ARRIVE PARIS (B,IL,ID)
Arrive
midday, complete your immigration and customs formalities.
Then board your coach and transfer to hotel. Some
time for freshen up. Afternoon, we have a city sightseeing
tour which introduces us to this fascinating city
and all its famous landmarks, such as the Notredam
Cathedral, Arc De Triumph, Concorde Square, Cleopatra's
Needle, Montemarte, Opera House, a drive through
the Rue St. Honore (which houses all famous fashion
houses of the world), which we shall pass by with
photo stops... Then Ascend to 2nd stage of Eiffel
Tower ... one of the most famous landmarks in the
world for a panoramic view of Europe's No.1 city.
Evening 1 hr cruise on the river Seine past some
of the famous landmarks and bridges of Paris. Gala
dinner with Music on Seine Cruise. Return to hotel.
You may wish to explore Paris by night on your own
by metro. Paris livens up at night. Visit the Latin
Quarter, Champs Ellysees, Rue De Fontane, Rue St.
Honore... where all the fashion houses are located,
Montemarte. |
| DAY
2 : AT PARIS (ABF,ID)
Breakfast.
Morning proceed to Disneyland Paris located just
outside the city, a fun filled day at the most popular
Theme Park in Paris. Enjoy the magic of Disney classics
including shows and parades starring favourite Disney
Characters. Your Theme Park passport admission ticket
entitles you to unlimited access to more than 50
rides. After a fun-
filled day depart. Disneyland at 1730 hrs and arrive
into the city. Indian dinner. For the elderly or
the Art Lover, the interest may lie in the various
museums and palaces that Paris has or in strolling
its Latin Quarter. We have something for them too
! In lieu of Euro Disney, we provide a metro pass
; a museum pass to explore these attractions. The
museum pass allows you to visit as many as 80 museums
including Versailles, Louvre, Invalides, to name
a few. There will be no need to stand in queues.
You will need to decide between the 2 options while
registering for the tour. Included : An "Evening
in Paris" programme comprising an Illuminations
drive through the brightly Lit... important streets
of Paris culminating with the original and World's
no.l "Can Can" show at Moulin Rouge.

DAY3 : PARIS-NICE (B,ID) - TGV TRAIN - FRENCH
RIVIERA
Breakfast. Morning visit the world famous Louvre
museum. Formerly the Palace of the French kings,
it slowly converted itself into a museum from 1747.
Louvre has 125 "classified" master pieces
among its huge collections including an Egyptian
section,
the famous "Winged Victory", Venus De
Milo, and of course Leonardo De Vinci's "Monalisa".
Then we walk across to Benelux, where you can buy
authentic and branded perfumes, cosmetics, fashion
Jewellery. Post Lunch we go to Gare De Lyon and
board your super fast TGV train to Nice. Those who
do not wish to visit the Louvre have free time to
go around Paris on their own and feel the city.
They will be required to meet up by the appointed
time. Arrive Nice. Transfer to hotel via Indian
restaurant. |
DAY 4: AT NICE & MONTE CARLO (B,ID)
Breakfast.
Morning free to stroll around and get a feel of
the French Riviera (Cote D'Azur). Late morning,
we proceed to the film festival city of Cannes.
Free time at the beach. Then post lunch we meet
our guide for sightseeing in the afternoon. We visit
Fragonnard, perfume factory to see the fine art
of perfume making... shop for perfumes at ex factory
prices(but not in their branded bottles).. later
into MONTE CARLO, capital of Monaco, ruled by royalty.
View from outside the apartment/villas of the rich
and the famous. We also view the Palace of Prince
Rainer and the late Princess Grace (both from outside).
An hour out at the SBM Casino ... the world's oldest.
Some free time here. Return via the invigorating
environment of Monte Carlo, Nice and the harbour
along the Moyneur Corniche. Return to hotel. Evening,
take a stroll in the surroundings |
DAY5:
NICE-CARARRA-PISA-FLORENCE AREA (B,ID)
Breakfast. A scenic feast today. We drive through
the French and Italian Riviera through an almost
unending array of tunnels to reach Pisa via Cararra...
marble capital of Italy. View the Leaning Tower
[be careful of pick pockets}. Then leave for Florence
to arrive at the Art Capital of Italy. Some free
time at Piazza Michael Angelo for a bird eye view
of Florence. Then we proceed to our hotel. Optional
: A post dinner walking tour of Florence for the
Art Lover. In store for us is a fascinating walking
tour of Renaissance Florence of the Piazza Delia
Signoria ... a virtual out door sculpture gallery.
View Piazza Palazzo Vechio, Giotto's Tower, Pizza
Duomo, the Baptistry with its colorful mosaics and
lastly Lorenzo Ghiberti's famous gilded doors that
made none other than the great master Michel Angelo
exclaim "These Doors are fit to stand at the
Gates of Paradise". (EUR 25 per person, minimum
25 persons). |
DAY6:
FLORENCE AREA-ROME (B,ID)
Breakfast. We depart for the Eternal city Rome passing
through the scenic Tuscany district. The Eternal
city is full of monuments each with a long period
of history. Some are in ruins, some in fine state.
It takes time and a lot of briefing to understand
and appreciate. And what better way than the Rome
"Time Elevator" show... In a simulated
environment, you travel the time line of history
and live the past. This 45 minutes action-packed
ride brings to life 3000 years of Roman history.
This unforgettable experience will stay with you,
as you tour the city. See Rome from above, flying
over the city, watching it burn. Join Romulus and
Remus (founders of Rome) on their ride into the
forest, as your seat moves in time with them. Through
your headset, hear Brutus plotting to kill Caesar,
Feel the action, thanks to spectacular special effects
that will surprise and amuse you. Afternoon sightseeing
tour of Vatican.... See the majestic St.Peter's
church... seat of the Pope... and which hosts the
famous Pieta by Michael Angelo. Then visit the Imperial
area viewing Rome's most famous landmarks - The
Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Arch De Constantine,
The Pantheon, the Vittoria Emanuel monument and
finally on to the Trevi Fountain where you throw
a coin and make a wish. Some free time at Piazza
Navonna which has the 3 fabulous fountains by Bernini....

DAY
7: ROME-VENICE (B,ID)
Breakfast.
We depart for Venice to arrive there in time for
an afternoon sightseeing commencing at 1600 hrs.
Feel the magic of this unique city in a sight seeing
tour. Its Canals are its roads, its vaperettos are
its buses, gently gliding along its canals with
brilliant mansions on both sides. Napoleon called
it the World's biggest drawing room. We shall see
the Bridge of Sighs, St. Marks Square. Free time
for you to feed the pigeons at St. Marks Square,
visit a Venetian Murano Glass factory or the many
shops around St. Marks Square where you can pick
up beautiful Glassware and Crochette work. It Is
an invigorating experience not to be found anywhere
else. Check into hotel.

DAY8:
VENICE-VIENNA (B,ID)
Breakfast. We commence our coach tour again today,
driving through unrivalled scenery... almost a picture
perfect landscape.... through the Austrian Alps
and Lake District,, We stop at Klagenfurt for a
magnificent view of the Austrian Landscape.... Perhaps
the best landscape on an European tour. Then descend
to the plains of River Danube, heralding the Imperial
Capital of Vienna... one of the most beautiful cities
In the World. Due an almost 650 years old uninterrupted
rule by the Hapsburg dynasty till after World War
I and largely saved from the ravages of the 2 World
Wars, Vienna's Monuments are in fine state of maintenance
and the well planned and laid out city is a tourist's
delight... Beautiful at day & charming at night
with the landmarks well lit up. The nightlife is
varied and exciting. Check into hotel. Free time
in the evening to visit the Prater amusement park...

DAY9:AT
VIENNA (B,ID)
Breakfast. Morning sightseeing tour introduces us
to the Austrian Capital... & the city of Mozart
and Strauss and the seat of the Erstwhile Austro-Hungary
Empire. Marvel at the architectural excellence of
Its buildings and palaces, all In the fine state
of maintenance, lovely parks and Pedestrian Walks,
Its fabulous Opera houses, the Rathaus and the Parliament
building in Neo Baroque style etc., the St.Stephen's
spired cathedral and the pedestrian area. Lunch
follows and there after free time to feel Vienna.
Perhaps you may wish to spend the afternoon in the
Pedestrian area at Stephen Platz and/or have an
evening at a concert or spend time at the Prater
Amusement Park. The under ground metro system of
Vienna is excellent, clean and simple for even the

DAY
10 : VIENNA-SALZBURG-MUNICH (B, ID)
Breakfast. Morning board your coach and proceed
on a scenic drive to Salzburg... The Sound of Music
city. Walking tour of this beautiful city which
Is also the famous composer Mozart's birth place.
Here music is an industry ! Then board your coach
and drive onto Munich...the Capital of the Bavarian
province of Germany. Arrive Munich. Panoramic tour
past the Olympic Stadium and the other landmarks
prior to arriving at the famous Marian Platz. This
pedestrian area Is surrounded by departmental stores
and many period style buildings including the Rathaus,
Witness the chiming of Bells at the Glockenspiel
with the various figuerettes some on horse back
rotating.-.a unique display seen only at Munich,
Then proceed to hotel.

DAY
11 : MUNICH-WATTENS-INNSBRUCK-LUCERNE (B,ID)
Breakfast. Morning board your coach and proceed
oh a scenic drive to Innsbruck. We arrive Wattens
to see Swarovski famous Crystal Museum, In.splendid
setting. Then an orientation tour of Innsbruck prior
to departing for Lake Lucerne. On arrival Lucerne,
check Into hotel.

DAY
12 : AT LK.LUCERNE - EXCURSION TO MT.TITUS (B,ID)
Breakfast. Late morning proceed to Engelberg for
an included excursion by a Rotoring Cable Car to
MTTTTLIS... a thrilling experience. On top there
is an ICE PALACE. Play in the snow and also do Ice
Flier ride. Afternoon return to base and then drive
to Lake Lucerne. Free time on the lake front.

DAY
13 : LK LUCERNE-JUNG FRAU-INTERLAKEN (B,IL,ID)
Breakfast. Today, we proceed to Interiakenvia Trummelbach
- the only glacial water falls in Europe Inside
the mountain and releasing upto 20,000 liters of
water per second !!! (We see the major 6 of the
16 water falls at the source,., accessing It through
carefully constracted path and tunnels. Then we
store for you an excursion to Jung Frau by mountain
RACKRAIL... the highest mountain railway In Europe
and see the magnificent ICE PALACE.. the train ride
is about 1 hrs 45 minutes each way. Adequate time
at the top. Evening return to Interiaken.

DAY
14 : AT INTERLAKEN (B,ID) - EXCURSION TO ZERMATT
Breakfast. Morning we proceed to Zermatt. A day
Excursion to the city of its own kind and often
known as the Mountain Mecca and is truly the place
of highest mountain peaks in Switzerland. Zermatt
is encircled by a famous ring of 29 mountains over
4000 meters (13000 feet) high. Zermatt is car-free
and Is the only non polluting zone of Switzerland,
consequently any walking around is very pleasant.
A promenade down the main street is a delight. At
any time, It is delightful to explore some of the
tiny (and romantic) cobbled alleyways just off the
main street, where you will find ancient sun browned
bams and traditional chalets. People here still
go around in Traditional costumes, horse drawn carriages
are common place. It is very much like stepping
back in time. There is no better place to see this
Mecca in the whole of Switzerland. Believe us IT'S
OUT OF THIS WORLD !!!!!! The beauty of the setting
is unsurpassed. Dominated by the unmistakable peak
of the Matterhorn, at 4478 metres (14,692 ft), standing
alone at the head of the valley. Matterhorn is the
most unmistakable landmark of Switzerland. The enroute
scenery between Interlaken and Zermatt is enchanting
to say the least. Return back to Interlaken.

15 : INTERLAKEN-LAKE TITTISEE-RHINELAND (B,ID)
Breakfast. Morning board your coach and drive to
Lake Tittisee.... In the heart of Black Forest.
Free time for shopping. Here you can buy the famous
Cuckoo clocks. Then we get into the Autobahn and
speed to Rhine Land. Check into hotel. |

DAY 16 : RHINELAND-RHINE
CRUISE-AMSTERDAM AREA (B,ID)
Breakfast. Morning we depart our hotel to go into
the heart of Rhineland. Here we do a cruise on
River Rhine past Vineyards and old castles. Then
continue to Amsterdam. On arrival Amsterdam, first
we visit a diamond factory followed by a canal
cruise ... the best way to see the 700 years old
city. Some free time at Dam Square. Dinner and
check into hotel. Those of you who wish to explore
Amsterdam by night, we have an optional programme
which provides for transfer to Dam Square and
back with some free time and a show at Cassa Rosa
(EUR 35 per person). |

DAY 17 : AMSTERDAM-CRUISE-SCOTLAND
(B,ID)
Morning we first visit the newly opened Tulip
Park. During the Tulip season we of course get
to see the Tulips. All through the summer in this
show garden is a profusion of colours... a wide
range of flowers and plants very neatly laid out
and landscaped. Here you also get to buy the bulbs,
seeds and which
you may wish to bring back home. There is also
a lovely handicraft center for Dutch souvenirs
at modest prices. Some wind mill viewing and a
visit to a clog and cheese factory. Then onto
Hague to see Madurodam... Holland in Miniature.
Some time at Madurodam. Late afternoon we drive
to the port to board the famous DFDS (Scandinavian)
Seaways
to UK. Dinner on ship with some specially arrange
Indian menu. Please note your checked baggage
goes with the coach on the ship and you need to
carry only your overnight hand bag with a change
to your cabin. |

DAY 18 : NEW CASTLE-EDINBURGH
(ABF,ID)
The ship docks at New Castle port ... in great
setting at 0800 hrs. Then through some of the
finest landscapes anywhere in the world to Edinburgh...
a short 2 hr drive. Edinburgh is rated as one
of the 10 most beautiful cities in the world with
the famous Edinburgh Castle majestically overlooking
the city. Sightseeing introduces us to the city
and followed by an included visit to the castle.
Later afternoon at leisure. Dinner at Indian restaurant.

DAY 19 : EDINBURGH-LK.DISTRICT
(ABF) & LK.DISTRICT-COVENTRY (ID)
Morning breakfast. We begin our day with a spectacular
drive through the Southern Uplands to the area
Known as " Devils Beef Tub". We see some of Britain's
most scenic spot as we drive along the lakes and
valleys of the English Lake District and via Carlisle
to stop at lakeside Windermere. Some free time.
Then along the shores of Winderemere and through
pastures, reminiscent of Wordsworth's great poetry,
we arrive in the town of Coventry. Dinner at Indian
restaurant. Check into hotel. |

DAY 20 : COVENTRY-LONDON
(ABF,ID)
Breakfast. Today, a short drive takes us to London.
On arrival, a city tour covering important landmarks
such as Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, Parliament
House, Big-Ben, West Minister Abbey prior to visiting
Madame Tussaud's wax museum. Then check into hotel.
Afternoon free for shopping. Dinner at Indian
restaurant. |
DAY 21 : TOUR ENDS(B)
Transfer to airport for your flight to India with
happy memories of a fabulous European Bonanza.
